Travel Studio Companion bed, 90 x 200 cm

The Travel Studio Companion bed was designed by Pagnon & Pelhaitre in 2007 and manufactured by Ligne Roset. The design of the bed has focused on practicality, as it not only functions as a bed but also as a seat and storage compartment. The second compartment of the Travel Studio Companion includes an additional bed with a slatted base and folding legs that raise it to the same height as the main bed. 

The Travel Studio Companion works perfectly as a solid bed, but it is also suitable for a space that can be used to accommodate guests. The wheels installed on the bottom make the bed easy to move, so that it is adaptable for various spaces.

Pagnon et Pelhaitre

Ligne Roset is a French furniture company with a long and eventful history. Antoine Roset founded the company in 1860 when it began as a wood processing factory. Later, the company began manufacturing walking sticks, wooden umbrellas, and chair frames.

The focus of the family business changed significantly in the 1950s when it began to contract furniture such as tables, chairs, and beds for schools and hospitals. Ligne Roset began to grow rapidly and soon they started a new chapter by entering the domestic market.

At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, Ligne Roset began collaborating more with interior architects and designers to enrich their business operations. One of these designers was Michel Ducaroy. Ligne Roset’s first store was opened in 1973, and it was the same year as Michel Ducaroy’s Togo sofa was launched. Togo series is considered to be probably Ligne Roset’s best-known product to date. Nowadays Ligne Roset designs and manufactures furniture, lighting and textiles.
