FDB Møbler’s J52B chair is Børge Mogensen’s interpretation of a classic English Windsor chair from 1952. The J52B chair is one of the most iconic pieces of Danish design, and it gained popularity even at the Presidency of the United States, where it became known as President Kennedy's favourite armchair. With its curved armrests and high, spindled back, J52B makes a great chair for relaxing, and its sleek, upright design also serves as a dining chair.

Danish FDB Møbler is strongly rooted in the icons of Danish furniture design. FDB, the Danish Consumers’ Co-operative Society, was founded in 1940 to produce functionalist and democratic design for ordinary people – thanks to the new industrial production, FDB could manufacture high-quality furniture at low prices. During the next decades, designers such as Børge Mogensen and Poul M. Volther created numerous timeless pieces of Danish furniture design. FDB closed its factory in 1980, but in 2013 the Danish Coop launched FDB Møbler and started re-releasing some of the most beloved products of the mid-century Danish design. In addition to the classics, FDB Møbler creates new furniture inspired by the old collections.
