Table B31, 170 x 92 cm, galvanized steel - teak

Grythyttan Stålmöbler's table B31 is an attractive and hardwearing outdoor table that pairs a steel base with a long, rectangular teak wood top. Designed by Artur Lindqvist in the 1950s, this table is ideal for approximately 6 people, and its foldable base allows it to be stored and transported in as narrow a space as possible. Over time, the galvanized steel parts will acquire a matte surface, while the untreated teak wood will develop a beautiful silver-grey patina.

Table B31 is part of Grythyttan Stålmöbler's Classic collection. With its first pieces dating back to the Swedish functionalist design of the 1930s, the Classic collection is designed specifically for outdoor use. Comprising minimalist steel frames and natural wooden elements, different pieces of the Classic collection complement each other effortlessly, while their timeless, modern feel makes them easy to pair with contemporary design as well. The products are made at Grythyttan Stålmöbler's factory in Sweden.

Grythyttan Stålmöbler is a Swedish family-owned furniture manufacturer best known for its steel-framed garden furniture. Originally a manufacturer of horseshoes, the company’s roots as a furniture manufacturer date back to 1930 when Artur Lindqvist introduced the armchair A2, which is still in production today. The chair's innovative, gently rocking base structure has been incorporated into other Grythyttan Stålmöbler chairs as well.
