Pukka ottoman, small green

The small ottoman in the Ligne Roset Pukka collection is upholstered with a green velvet-like Kvadrat Gentle 2 fabric that dresses its shape perfectly. The Pukka series is designed by Yabu Pushelberg and the collection includes a small and large ottoman as well as an armchair and a sofa. The small ottoman comes together perfectly with the Pukka armchair, but it can be an exciting addition to your home as a separate piece as well. It works well as an extra seat in smaller spaces too.

The design of the Pukka collection was inspired by the iconic Serie Up armchair designed by Gaetano Pesce for B&B Italy in 1969. The Pukka collection echoes the soft and feminine theme of the Serie Up armchair. The colour palette of the series consists of four bright pastel colours that fit the essence of the series seamlessly.

Yabu Pushelberg

Ligne Roset is a French furniture company with a long and eventful history. Antoine Roset founded the company in 1860 when it began as a wood processing factory. Later, the company began manufacturing walking sticks, wooden umbrellas, and chair frames.

The focus of the family business changed significantly in the 1950s when it began to contract furniture such as tables, chairs, and beds for schools and hospitals. Ligne Roset began to grow rapidly and soon they started a new chapter by entering the domestic market.

At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, Ligne Roset began collaborating more with interior architects and designers to enrich their business operations. One of these designers was Michel Ducaroy. Ligne Roset’s first store was opened in 1973, and it was the same year as Michel Ducaroy’s Togo sofa was launched. Togo series is considered to be probably Ligne Roset’s best-known product to date. Nowadays Ligne Roset designs and manufactures furniture, lighting and textiles.
