Seller’s description

For sale is a magnificent and extremely rare “Venezia” cotton fabric designed by Alvar and Elissa Aalto in 1954–1955. The fabric is a genuine vintage find from the 1950s, and along its bottom edge is a clear and neat inscription: “ALVAR AALTO DESIGN 'VENEZIA' ARTEK TEXTILE MADE IN FINLAND”. The pattern is a collaboration between the Aalto architect couple, which is not currently in Artek's production - so it is a true collector's rarity.
