A rare Pollo designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Rosenthal in 1970. This vase was produced in a limited edition in 2012. The Pollo can be found in three sizes. Its neck is decorated with a beautiful beaded dot relief decoration. This is the largest size of all the Pollos. The Pollo vase shows the influence of a variety of natural forms. According to the story, someone told Tapio Wirkkala after seeing a woman with beautiful breasts that "after all, nature is the most skillful designer.
