Seller’s description

The collection of PS wall hangings designed by Hella Jongerius for Ikea in 2009 was part of an Ikea and UNICEF program that helped Indian women establish small sewing businesses and enabled their children to go to school. The wall hangings parts are made of felt, woven wool and printed cotton and sewn together and embroidered by hand. The top edge also has a brightly colored polyester ribbon with buttonholes to help attach the tapestry to the wall.
