Seller’s description

An iconic floor lamp model 9269 designed by Paavo Tynell for Taito in the 1950s. The lamp is in good condition and retains all original parts and original rattan. It has been repainted as the old paint was in too rough of a condition. 

As with many of Tynell´s other lamps, this one has been nicknamed the `Nun´s Hat` due to its resemblance to one.

Paavo Tynell (1890–1973) was a Finnish designer who is well renowned around the world for his incredible lighting fixtures and lamps.
