Commissioned Paavo Tynell Floor Lamp 9617, Linen, Brass and Rattan Taito, 1950s

An extremely rare model that was never in catalogues and was only made by order or private commissions. A large floor lamp with a much thicker stem wrapped in its original rattan and standing on a beautifully designed tripod leg made of painted metal and a brass part. The upper part is also made of brass and has a much bigger joint than in normal standard Tynells. The shade is also larger than normal and renewed on original frame.
