Seller’s description

A pair of candle holders designed by Tapio Wirkkala, and manufactured by Kultakeskus Oy back in 1980s. Both pieces are fully stamped and marked, confirming the year of manufacture and the manufacturer. They have monograms also.

Tapio Wirkkala was a genious designer and sculptor who was recognized as a leading figure in Finnish arts and crafts in the "golden era" of 1950s-1960s after the wars.
