Seller’s description

Timo Sarpaneva received the Grand Prix award for this art piece in the Milan Triennial XI in 1957. It was made in a number of different colors. The material is glass, clear and violet, steam-blown, flared and cut. The overall condition is very good.. a few scratches on the bottom consistent with age and use. The name comes obviously from this art object´s resemblance of a cardinal´s hat. This item is in beautiful vintage condition and incidentally from the same year as it was awarded in Italy.
