A beautiful Tynell floor lamp commissioned for the HOK Suurravintola "Grand Restaurant" in Helsinki designed by Paavo Tynell, and manufactured by Oy Taito Ab, c. 1949. Only 8 of these lamps are known to be made.

The legendary HOK Suurravintola was situated in the center of Helsinki at the Vaakuna Hotel. The restaurant was the biggest in Finland and one of the most popular and majestic. All of the restaurant's lightings were commissioned and designed by Paavo Tynell.
