Creation of the 3238 series of chairs also known as the Hunting Chairs was started in the 1950s and was produced by Fredericia Furniture. Made of Oak and leather, the oak frames have original saddle leather and seats with brass buckles. In fairly good condition with beautiful patina on the leather. Borge Mogensen began his career as a cabinetmaker, then studied furniture design at the school of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen until 1938, under the direction of Kaare Klint, where he later became his assistant between 1938 and 1941.Read more
