Seller’s description

A rare and iconic floor lamp by Tapio Wirkkala and manufactured by Idman. The lamp is very versatile and is adjustable on three different axes. Also the height, width and depth are all adjustable. The lamp features black painted metal on two brass shafts with teak and brass details. Stamped Idman and carries the original label.

Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985) was a genius designer and sculptor who was recognized as a leading figure in Finnish arts and crafts in the "golden era" of 1950s-1960s after the wars.
