Pebble bar stool by Warm Nordic was named after its smooth, slightly asymmetric and organically shaped wooden seat that is reminiscent of small pebbles found in ocean beaches. The unique wood grain patterns emphasize the natural expression of the stool. Designed by Welling/Ludvik, the Pebble bar stools stand on a robust yet slim metal frame with three legs. The horizontal bars provide a good seating pose for people of different heights.

Design duo Welling/Ludvik was founded in 2010 by the Danish designer Hee Welling and Icelandic designer Gudmundur Ludvik, both former students of the Danish Design School. Welling/Ludvik aims at renewing Scandinavian design traditions by focusing on functional aesthetics, personal experience and environmentally friendly production. The duo has contributed to modern Scandinavian design with new, interesting combinations of forms, materials and atmospheres.
Warm Nordic is a Danish design brand that relaunches design classics from the past decades as well as contemporary design inspired by them. The founder Frantz Longhi got the idea for Warm Nordic after collecting Scandinavian design for many years and noticing that many sought-after tables, chairs and lamps were only available at international auctions. As its name suggests, Warm Nordic sees Scandinavian design and home décor full of warmth, not coolness: besides top-class design, it wants to fill homes with coziness and elements of the world-famous Danish hygge.
