Lapuan Kankurit’s Kaisla cushion cover brings the relaxed, textured charm of linen to both home and summer cottage interiors – whether styled on its own or arranged in a group of several cushions.

Designed by Elina Helenius, the linen Kaisla textiles are decorated with delicate stripes that call to mind sunny summer days and reeds swaying in the wind – fittingly, kaisla means “reed” in Finnish. The linen textiles in the collection delight with their easy-care quality and durability, and they do not necessarily require ironing – small creases simply highlight the natural character of linen. The Kaisla collection is woven at Lapuan Kankurit’s own weaving mill in Finland; the company name translates as “Weavers of Lapua.”

Lapuan Kankurit – whose name means “Weavers of Lapua” – is a Finnish weaving mill specialising in linen and wool products. The brand creates versatile interior and table textiles, as well as bath and sauna products, crafted from genuine natural materials. Inspiration for the textiles comes from the purity and rugged beauty of northern nature, with both Finnish and international textile artists contributing to the designs.
