BM0488S Table Bench, short, oiled oak - rattan

Carl Hansen & Søn’s BM0488S Table Bench was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958. This slender side table is a combination of many beautiful details: the solid oak frame is accompanied by a charming, hand-woven rattan top and finished with skilful joinery.

The BM0488S Table Bench will find its place in any room of the house – you can use it as a side table in the living room, an additional table in the kitchen or a nightstand in the bedroom. Please note, however, that this delicate rattan weave is not suitable for seating. The Table Bench is handcrafted in Denmark.

Carl Hansen & Søn is a traditional Danish family business specialising in classic wooden furniture. Founded in 1908, the company is particularly known for its long-standing collaboration with Hans J. Wegner, the designer of the iconic Wishbone chair. Other legendary 20th-century designers like Arne Jacobsen, Børge Mogensen, Ole Wanscher and Kaare Klint have also worked with Carl Hansen & Søn.
