Designed by Artur Lindqvist, this garden chair is easily recognised by its light and slender base structure, which gives it a subtle, pleasant rocking motion when seated. In addition to its comfort, the chair is also stackable, adding to its practicality.

A2 is part of Grythyttan Stålmöbler’s Classic collection, rooted in the traditions of 1930s Swedish functionalism. Grythyttan Stålmöbler is a Swedish family-owned furniture manufacturer best known for its steel-framed garden furniture. Originally a manufacturer of horseshoes, the company’s roots as a furniture manufacturer date back to 1930 when Artur Lindqvist introduced the armchair A2, which is still in production today. The chair's innovative, gently rocking base structure has been incorporated into other Grythyttan Stålmöbler chairs as well.
