5602 pint glass created by Kaj Franck has a rational, geometrical and streamlined shape. The pint glasses were in production from 1954 to 1967 and were made of Kartio drinking glass by adding only a handle. The stylish glasses glow in different colors and are suitable for the festive table setting but also suit the needs of everyday life.

Nuutajärvi Glassworks was established in Urjala in 1793, and until 2014 it was the oldest glass factory still operating in Finland. The Nuutajärvi glass factory area is nowadays listed among the nationally important built cultural environments by The National Board of Antiquities. During its long history, Nuutajärvi Glassworks manufactured everything from window glass to design glass.

Kaj Franck was the longest-running artistic director of the Nuutajärvi Glassworks between 1951 and 1973. The glass factory also employed several other well-known Finnish glass designers such as Gunnel Nyman, Saara Hopea, Oiva Toikka, Heikki Orvola and Kerttu Nurminen. Independent glass designers and artists still work and manufacture glass objects at the Nuutajärvi glass factory area. The Nuutajärvi Glass Museum Prykäri, designed by Kaj Franck, also locates in the area.
