Vannfall water jug, crystal clear

Nedre Foss’ Vannfall glass jug, created by the Japanese designer Jin Kuramoto, is a sturdy glass pitcher featuring a nuanced surface with an organic texture. Kuramoto’s design process was driven by shapes and textures instead of materials: he was fascinated by the rough feel and irregularities of the first prototypes and decided to experiment with different materials and techniques to find the best combination. The final version is made from mouth-blown glass, which emphasises the uneven texture and leaves room for the play of light and colours. You can use the Vannfall jug as a water pitcher as well as for serving wine, juices or soft drinks.

Jin Kuramoto

Nedre Foss Gård is a Norwegian restaurant and a brewery, located in Oslo by the river Akerselva. Businessman and restaurateur Nevzat Arikan established the restaurant in an old farm complex that features a main building from 1802. The interior was designed by Anderssen & Voll, who also moved to the premises, and the restaurant opened its doors in 2015. The Ildhane cast iron candleholder was created during the project and became the first product of Nedre Foss. The brand's aim is to produce "Century Objects" – products that will serve at least for 100 years.
