Storybirds Olga jug, white

Kati Tuomi-Niittynen designed the Olga jug for Arabia as part of the Storybirds series in the 1990s. The white Olga jug was produced at the Arabia factory from 1993 to 1998. The Olga jug can be used to serve drinks in a stylish way at the dining table while it also elevates both everyday and festive table settings. Olga’s interesting design makes it a beautiful decoration piece for the kitchen too.

The Storybirds series was born when Tuominen-Niittylä wondered about the object's way to be sculptural. The bird-like four-piece series was also awarded at the 1994 Ambiente in Frankfurt. The delightful Storybird pieces are functional pieces that also add an eye-catching decorative element for the interiors.
