Tapiovaara armchair 222, red

This rare armchair by Ilmari Tapiovaara is sleek and good to sit on. The easy-care surface is some kind of faux leather or plastic, may be original. The seat section has been slightly depressed in the middle over the decades. The lower wooden part has a screw (picture) on both sides, with which the parts of the chair are fastened to each other, its meaning has not been clarified. Also on sale is the legendary Kiki Side Table, also designed by Tapiovaara, which is well compatible with this chair (photo).
