555 sofa, greyish-blue

Artek 555 sofa – a two-seater classic. Purchased new in 1992 after serving as a showroom piece. It has been in continuous use ever since, first in my parents’ first owned home and later in mine.

Sofa details:

- Frame: white, with signs of wear on the painted surface
- Original upholstery: black-beige by Marjatta Metsovaara
- Current upholstery: light grey, durable Finnish fabric (likely by Annala), reupholstered and webbing tightened in 2010
- Condition: minimal signs of use on the upholstery, some wear on the paint and seat webbing
- History: single owner, well-made and well-maintained

This sofa represents genuine Nordic design and has remained in good functional condition for over 30 years.
