Classical Paavo Tynell Pendant Model 1355 in Brass, String, & Birch, Taito 1930s

A beautiful example of Paavo Tynell’s classical 1930s lamps. The model is 1355, featuring dark stained birch details and three patinated cast brass arms, each diverging into two with candle-like points topped by champagne-colored plastic shades. 

The lamp is in its original condition except for the shades, which are easily replaceable. It bears the Oy Taito Ab stamp and the model number.

Paavo Tynell (1890–1973) was a renowned Finnish designer celebrated for his exceptional lighting fixtures.
