A large Mid-Century Modern brass table lamp with a wooden slate shade made by Valaisin Mäkelä oy. The lamp seems to be by Finnish lamp designer Kai Ruokonen (Finnmark) as we have a pair that are very similar and have the same parts as in this one yet carry the label of Designed by Kai Finnmark. It is also known that he designed for Valaisin Mäkelä. On all accounts, quite beautiful and sizable standing over 60cm tall.
