Rare Commissioned Paavo Tynell Perforated Brass Table Lamp, Taito Oy, 1950s

An extremely rare commissioned table lamp by Paavo Tynell. This lamp has features from several models yet has a unique perforated cone shape shade that is not found in any other standard models. A similar example can be found in a drawing from the Tynell archives from a private order by Architect Sirén in the early 1950s. (Picture included). The lightswitch is featured on the shade, and consequently the brass stem and stand are completely plain.
