Alvar Aalto 3-Legged Stool Model 60 In Birch & Rare Green Linoleum, Artek 1950s

Artek stool in birch and green linoleum, designed by Alvar Aalto and manufactured by Artek in the 1950s. The model 60 stool is perhaps the most well known Aalto design and has always been attractive to people. As with a lot of Alvar Aalto's works the beauty comes from the simplicity and functionalism. 

The item is in good resotred condition with uncommon green linoleum. The stool had two layers of paint at some point which were successfully removed revealing a beautiful patina and what seem like also rare elm legs.
