A beautiful and exceedingly rare stool from the mid 1960s by Finnish designer Perttu Mentula for Artek. This "active man stool" as it was called was only produced for a short time in the mid 1960s by Artek.
The light weight stool was marketed as a stool for the active person and worked perfect for saunas and beaches. It has handles that enable a proactive approach to exercising rather than just sitting.
