Rare Alvar Aalto 4 Legged Stools E60 Wartime Version in Red & Blue, Artek 1940s

Alvar Aalto war-time stools are extremely sought after collectibles for the simple reason that not many were made and the few that survived and not available any more. A war-time stool can be easily distinguished by the way the legs are bent, or actually in this case joint together near the L shaped curve that goes under the seat. During WW2 and shortage years glue was hard to find, hence this ingenious way was found to fix the problem.
