Aalto glass, 12 cl, rio brown

Aalto glasses were originally designed for the Riihimäki glass design competition in 1933. The design work was a joint project of Aino and Alvar Aalto, and the glasses show the simplicity and practicality typical of Aino Aalto in particular. 

The warm Rio brown color of the glasses was used a lot by Alvar Aalto in the 1930s. Custom made glasses are great for serving cocktails. 

On sale is a pack of 2x2 pieces. The glasses are unused and in their original packaging.
