Oyster armchair, beige

Pierre Paulin designed the Oyster armchair for Artifort in the 1960s. The Oyster armchair has a chromed metal cross base and a soft padded seat. The upholstery of the armchair has been renewed with a beige fabric, which suits both modern and classic interiors. Thanks to its timeless and cosy design, Oyster is the perfect choice for any living room or bedroom.

With its sympathetic and light form, the Oyster armchair is also known as the F157. Besides being a beautiful example of the furniture design of its own era, Oyster is also a timeless classic that will continue to charm for many decades to come.

Artifort is a world-renowned design furniture manufacturer. Artifort's story began in 1890, when Jules Wagemans founded an upholstery company in Maastricht, in the Netherlands. In the 1920s, Wagemans' son Henricus Wagemans took over the family business, during which time he expanded the operations and Artifort began to produce furniture.

Harcourt, who have played an important role in shaping Artifort’s image and story into a well-known design brand. In 1998, the furniture manufacturer Lande Group took Artifort under its wing and has continued to develop the company further.
