Org Horizontal 2000 pendant, nickel

DCWéditions' Org Horizontal pendant is pared back yet surprisingly versatile all at once. The pendant lamp is made up of several opal glass tubes arranged asymmetrically, their ends finished with an elegant nickel plating. The effect shifts with the room: the Org looks delicate and refined in one setting, quietly industrial in another. The pendant is just as happy in a home as in a public space, and with a three-metre cord, it works beautifully in rooms with high ceilings, too. German designer Sebastian Summa has said he drew inspiration from science fiction and astronomy, and one has to admit that there's something of a shooting star in the way the Org cuts through the air.
