Moomin serving plate, 24 x 32 cm, Gift of Love

Moomin Arabia’s Gift of Love serving plate will tempt you to whip up treats and goodies, whether it’s an ordinary weekday or a special occasion. This ceramic Moomin serving dish suits any table setting and can also go in the oven for baked dishes.

The Gift of Love collection is an invitation to share magical moments with your favourite people and creatures, celebrating time together just as the Moomins would – with small gifts, dancing on the table, raising toasts and enjoying cake. Its illustrations take their cue from Tove Jansson’s comic strip Moomin and the Golden Tail (1958), in which Moomintroll sprouts a golden tuft at the tip of his tail and finds himself the star of glamorous parties. The Gift of Love collection is part of the Love 30 anniversary year, which honours the popular Moomin mug Love from 1996.

Moomin Arabia is a collection of Moomin products by Arabia, one of Finland's most renowned brands. The residents of Moominvalley first appeared as ceramic designs in the 1950s when artist Tove Jansson created Moomin-themed dishes and her mother, Signe "Ham" Hammarsten Jansson, crafted ceramic Moomin figures. In the 1990s, Moomin mugs designed by illustrator Tove Slotte quickly became favourites among both children and adults. Since then, Moomin Arabia products have been cherished as delightful everyday items and valuable collectables worldwide. Today, the collection includes not only dishware but also textiles.
