Moomin mug, Last Dragon

The Moomin mug ”Last Dragon” by Arabia is based on an episode of the new, animated Moominvalley series where Moomintroll is enchanted by a small, golden dragon. Coloured by warm sunlight of the spring, the mug illustrates a scene of Moomintroll’s and Snufkin’s encounter when Snufkin has returned to the Moominvalley after a long winter. The ceramic Moomin mugs are great for serving tea, coffee as well as hot chocolate and will cheer up any table setting.

Arabia’s Moominvalley collection features Moomin mugs decorated with concept art from the Moominvalley animation by Gutsy Animations. The skilful and warm-hearted 3D animations bring new life to Tove and Lars Jansson’s original drawings while maintaining their unique, magical ambience. The mugs have a special Moominvalley stamp on the bottom. Moomin Arabia is a collection of Moomin products by Arabia, one of Finland's most renowned brands. The residents of Moominvalley first appeared as ceramic designs in the 1950s when artist Tove Jansson created Moomin-themed dishes and her mother, Signe "Ham" Hammarsten Jansson, crafted ceramic Moomin figures. In the 1990s, Moomin mugs designed by illustrator Tove Slotte quickly became favourites among both children and adults. Since then, Moomin Arabia products have been cherished as delightful everyday items and valuable collectables worldwide. Today, the collection includes not only dishware but also textiles.
