Mon Amie pitcher 1,2 L

Rörstrand’s Mon Amie pitcher is part of Marianne Westman’s beloved tableware collection featuring blooming, delicate flowers of Nordic wetlands. Westman got the inspiration for Mon Amie collection on a rainy midsummer in the late 1940s while sitting and sketching Labrador tea flowers. The cobalt blue flowers of Mon Amie tableware have been an essential part of Scandinavian table settings since their launch in 1952, and the collection’s appearance is still crisp and fresh today. The Swedish porcelain manufacturer Rörstrand launched an updated version of the Mon Amie collection in 2008 to celebrate the 80th birthday of Marianne Westman.

Founded in Stockholm's Rörstrand castle in 1726, Rörstrand is the second oldest porcelain manufacturer in Europe. Rörstrand’s collections form the basis of Swedish ceramic and pattern design — for example the traditional Swedish Nordstjärna pattern originates from Rörstrand. In 1976, the Rörstrand Museum was opened in Sweden’s Lidköping to present the wide collections of the porcelain factory.

Today, Rörstrand’s collections feature timeless classics, such as Marianne Westman’s and Oiva Toikka’s designs, as well as new, interesting productions, like a collaboration with the Swedish fashion house Filippa K.
