NORR11’s Mammoth chair is a modern interpretation of the classic wing chair. The Mammoth lounge chair comprises a solid oak frame and generous cushioning upholstered in aniline leather. The bent plywood wings on the sides give the lounge chair an embracing, curved finish. You can pair the lounge chair with the Mammoth ottoman for extra comfort.

Designed by Rune Krøjgaard and Knut Bendik Humlevik, the Mammoth series was released in 2011. The Mammoth lounge chair and ottoman have clear influences from the mid-century Scandinavian design yet boast a fresh and contemporary feel, making them a perfect fit for both classic and modern interiors.

NORR11 is a modern Danish design brand that combines Scandinavian design traditions with Asian influences. Founded in 2011 by Tommy Hyldahl, NORR11 manufactures furniture and lighting with a focus on natural materials, craftsmanship and sustainability. The products are made using only water-based lacquers and certified wood, with an aim to utilise as much surplus pieces and materials as possible.
