Lentävä lautanen cast iron pot 3,5 L

The cast iron series designed by Antti Nurmesniemi for Wärtsilä is known for its nickname “Lentävä lautanen”. The series was in production from 1977 to 1984, and it included cast iron pots of four sizes either in black or red colour. Cast iron pots are perfect for preparing tasty casserole dishes and the timeless design of Nurmesniemi pots also fit nicely into various kitchen interiors.

One of the uniting features in the pots and saucepans of the Nurmesniemi cast iron series is the knob on the lid, which is easy to grip with an oven glove while cooking. The series also includes a pancake pan, a frying pan and a saucepan. The handle of the saucepan and frying pan is made of teak wood.
