Why is this change being made?

We are updating our marketplace model as part of the ongoing development of our service. The aim of this change is to build Franckly on a more long-term basis and to make the service clearer and more streamlined in the future.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still sell products on Franckly?

The ability for private individuals to sell products on Franckly ends on 30 June 2026. From 10 June 2026, we will no longer accept new product suggestions, and new product listings from private sellers will no longer be approved.

However, you may continue to sell products you have already listed on the platform until 30 June 2026.

What happens to my current listings?

All active listings from private individuals will be automatically removed from the service on 30 June 2026. You do not need to take any action to remove your listings.

What happens to my user account?

Your account will remain active after the change.

You will still be able to:

• Buy products on Franckly
• Save items to your favourites
• Make offers on products

Can I change my account to a company account?

Yes. If you already have a Franckly account, you can change your account type to a company account under My Details. Changing your account type requires a valid Business ID.

Once the change has been made, your profile will become a company profile, and you can continue selling products as a company.

What about ongoing transactions and payouts?

All completed sales will be processed as normal. Any remaining sales proceeds will continue to be paid out after the change until all pending sales have been finalised.

Can I still buy products on Franckly?

Yes. Purchasing through the service will continue as normal after the change. Franckly will remain a place to discover unique second-hand treasures and make exciting design finds.

But what’s with the extra "C"? With it, we wish to honor the great Finnish designer Kaj Franck (1911–1989) – a true pioneer of sustainable design and an early spokesperson for circularity, for whom design meant a better quality of life. Franck believed in creating beautiful everyday objects that would stand the test of time.
