Dyyni rug, 200 x 300 cm, beige

Finarte’s Dyyni rug, designed by Finnish design duo Saana ja Olli, adds a natural touch to your home decor. Decorated with a beautiful organic wave pattern, the beige-coloured rug is named after the Finnish word for ”dune”, evoking images of sandy beaches and serene desert landscapes. The Dyyni rug is handmade in India from upcycled cotton; the material is derived from cut-offs, scraps and leftovers from the local clothing industry.

Please note that, unlike the product image, the pattern is repeated three times instead of two in the 200 x 300 cm size.

Finarte is a Finnish rug company founded in 1985 by Eija Rasinmäki, a pioneer of rag rugs, and businessman Erkki Immonen. Finarte is known for its beautiful and unique designs with a focus on reusable materials. The rugs are handwoven in India, where the collaboration with the local rug makers has continued since the 1990s.

Today, the company is led by the founders’ daughter Larissa Immonen, and it focuses on combining traditional Finnish weaving heritage with contemporary design and ecological values. The designers include both well-known and fresh names of Finnish design.
